Job description

General Objectives 

Participate in the inventory management process by managing the purchase order process and receiving in products accurately and effectively.

 Specific Responsibilties

  • Ensure all inventory receipts are properly recorded in the system.
  • Monitor and audit bar-code receivings and maintain barcode equipment and supplies.
  • Manage manual receivings.
  • Research and resolve receiving issues.
  • Update daily “receipts activity” into management log.
  • Process invoice matching exceptions in the system.
  • Provide back-up support to inventory control specialist.
  • Monitor and process drop ship orders.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

Retail background with experience in inventory management.

Other Requirements

Good communication and listening skills.  Ability to take direction and work well with others.  Basic computer skills.  Forklift certification or training desired.
