Job description

What does it mean to be a part of the Order Selection team?
In this fast-paced role, you are the boots on the ground and responsible for accurately and efficiently pulling customer orders within the warehouse. This role requires strategic thinking and attention to detail while palletizing orders and ensuring they are placed in the correct assigned locations. You will operate motorized equipment including Electric Pallet Jacks while ensuring that you safely and accurately move product within the warehouse. Schedule:
  • 3:00pm until work completion
  • Sunday & Monday mandatory, Wednesday and/or Thursday optional
  • Average of 15-20 hours per week

Pay:
  • $25.56/hr to start (paid weekly)
    • $27.38/hr after 500 hours of service
    • $29.21/hr after 1000 hours of service

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Receives, stores, and/or selects various grocery, perishable, general merchandise. products or supplies from warehouse stock.
  • Transports product throughout the warehouse via pallet jack of forklift.
  • Works in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures.
  • Assists other departments with work activities when required.
  • Promotes good working relationships by maintaining a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Maintains order selection performance standards of speed and accuracy with minimum damage.
  • Attends work regularly and on time as scheduled.
  • Ensures the correct labels are on the correct pallet.

Job Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Warehouse and/or pallet jack experience preferred.
  • Previous order selection, warehouse experience such as shipping or receiving, or experience in a physically demanding position is preferred.
  • Must be willing to consent to background check and drug screen.
  • Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds, frequent bending, stooping and lifting.
  • Must have the ability to work in various temperatures from -20 to 80 degrees.
  • Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
