These principles guide how we work with clients and how we support one another as a team. If this sounds like a team you want to build with, we'd love to meet you. About the RoleWe are seeking a Marketing Data Analyst (Contractor) to support marketing measurement, reporting, and audience analysis initiatives through Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC). This role will be responsible for developing AMC queries, generating recurring and ad hoc analyses, translating marketing questions into actionable insights, and partnering with marketing and analytics stakeholders to improve campaign performance.This is a part-time contract role requiring approximately 40 hours per week for 4 weeks.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) SQL queries and reports.Analyze campaign performance across Amazon Ads products, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP.Develop customer journey and attribution analyses to evaluate marketing effectiveness.Create repeatable reporting frameworks and dashboards for key stakeholders.Translate business and marketing questions into analytical approaches and measurable outcomes.Identify opportunities for audience optimization, targeting improvements, and media efficiency.Deliver insights and recommendations through executive-ready presentations and reports.Partner with marketing teams to define KPIs and measurement strategies.Ensure data quality, validation, and consistency across reporting outputs.Document AMC query logic, methodologies, and reporting processes. What to ExpectRecurring AMC campaign performance reports.Audience and customer journey analyses.Attribution and incrementality insights.Ad hoc marketing investigations and recommendations.Documentation of reporting assets and AMC query library.Success: Timely delivery of AMC reporting solutions.Improved report deliverables with more enhanced insightsHigh-quality documentation and maintainable analytics assetsQualifications (Required)3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, digital analytics, or advertising measurement.Hands-on experience with Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC).Strong SQL skills and ability to write complex analytical queries.Experience analyzing digital advertising performance and customer journeys.Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Qualifications (Preferred)Experience with Amazon DSP and Amazon Ads reporting.Experience with retail media analytics.Familiarity with Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar BI platforms.Statistical analysis or experimentation experience.Experience working with large marketing datasets and attribution methodologies.
