Job description

The City of Scottsdale is looking for an innovative, collaborative, and solution-oriented Traffic Engineer to help design, improve, and manage the transportation network that serves our growing community.

Every project you work on will have a direct impact on thousands of residents, businesses, cyclists, pedestrians, and visitors. Registration as a Professional Engineer with the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration, OR by the technical board of another state with the ability to obtain Arizona Registration through reciprocity within 6 months of employment is required of this position. Anticipated starting salary may be up to mid-point depending on candidate's experience and internal equity.

The full salary range is listed above and mid-point for this position is $53.09 hourly/$110,427.20 annually. Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience A Bachelor's Degree in Traffic Engineering, Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited educational institution

Four years of relevant experience. Licensing, Certifications and Other Requirements Registration as a Professional Engineer with the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration, OR by the technical board of another state with the ability to obtain Arizona Registration through reciprocity within 6 months of employment. Every person employed by the City of Scottsdale shall reside in the State of Arizona during his or her active employment by the City, regardless of whether the employee is approved to remote work.
