The Positive Route is a trusted third-party service provider proudly delivering Amazon packages in Tyler, Texas and the surrounding 50-mile area. We are dedicated to bringing positivity and smiles to every doorstep, with a strong focus on exceptional customer service, a supportive culture, and ongoing learning and development for our team.
This is a part-time position starting on October 9th, 2025. We have 20 full-time positions available starting the week of November 16th, 2025, which will be filled after a successful 30-day evaluation period.
Job Description
Location: Tyler, TX (and surrounding 50-mile radius)
Job Type: Part-time(with potential for Full-Time after 30-day evaluation)
Pay: Bi-Weekly Pay Period $20.50 per hour with first pay day scheduled for Oct 31, 2025
As a Delivery Associate, you will:
  • Safely operate a company van (Ford Transit 350 or Dodge Promaster 3500) to transport and deliver goods.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Efficiently load and unload packages, ensuring they are not damaged.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records using a company-provided scanner.
  • Perform routine pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Deliver approximately 250 packages in a 7-hour timeframe.
  • Be prepared for a physically demanding role, which includes lifting packages up to 50 pounds and significant walking (around 20,000 steps per shift).

What We're Looking For
We're looking for candidates who:
  • Are at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Are able to pass a drug test and a criminal background check.
  • Have strong customer service skills and can communicate effectively.
  • Are familiar with route driving and navigation systems.
  • Have experience as a delivery driver or in a similar courier, moving, commercial driving, or warehouse role (preferred).
  • Are safety-minded, with a strong work ethic and a "get it done" attitude.
  • Can work independently and manage time effectively in all types of weather conditions.

Benefits & Shift Details
Shift: 10am-6pm
Part-time schedule (until Nov. 16th): Up to 25 hours per week, Monday through Sunday.
Full-time schedule (starting Nov. 16th): Guaranteed 32 hours per week, Sunday through Thursday.
Part-time schedule (starting Nov. 16th): Up to 16 hours per week, Friday and/or Saturday.
