As a Airport Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspector in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government airport location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support travelers and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time, Dayshift

Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

  • 20+ Years of Age
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by assignment.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, and/or unattended property, and help to deter violations through visible presence and timely communication.
  • Support access control and screening-related post orders by verifying credentials, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and documenting security-related observations and/or incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
