POSITION: Aircraft Engine Wash Technician
SCHEDULE: Part-time
LOCATION: Atlanta
DESCRIPTION:
If you enjoy working with customers and have availability in the evenings, this position is for you.
The wash technician will work at our customer location's and consist of a two-man team to perform on-wing aircraft engine washes.
We are seeking candidates who are available to work in the evenings approximately 5 days per week, 50 weeks per year as part of a three-man rotating crew.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties shall include but are not limited to the following:
  • Perform on-wing aircraft engine washes in accordance with approved engine wash cards.
  • Ensure all engine wash equipment is properly secured to the aircraft and ensure the process runs smoothly throughout the engine wash process.
  • Troubleshoot issues throughout the engine wash process.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed and signed by the customer.
  • When on-site, wash technicians represent the company. Wash Technicians will dress appropriately and present a professional attitude.
  • Communicate with customer crew members in order to facilitate a smooth engine wash process. Hand signals, radio, cell phone and talking will be forms of communication that could be utilized before, during and after the engine washing process.
  • all other duties requested by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Airframe and Powerplant License required
  • Must have reliable transportation to get to and from the company vehicle or to the airport
Must be able to complete these requirements with or without accommodation:
  • Must be able to bend, squat and climb 6-ft ladders.
  • Must be able to stand/sit for up to four hours. Engine washes can take up to a half hour per engine with one to two aircraft generally required for each job.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions and elevated noise levels.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to move up and down a ladder carrying up to 15 lbs. as well as being able to lift 15 lbs. overhead.
  • Must be able to communicate with both Aero Jet Wash staff and with clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must possess excellent organizational and computer skills
  • Must be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate or equivalent
  • Must possess a valid driverโ€™s license and have an excellent driving record. A Real ID is a requirement.
  • Ability to easily adapt to change and new technology
  • Must be goal-oriented, have exceptional attention to detail, and work well independently and with a team.
  • Must be able to pass a ten-year Background/Criminal/OMV/Drug Screen
  • Must be insurable under Omni Air Transportโ€™s auto insurance policy
