Job description

Monte Cassino School is seeking After School Care Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year (August 2026 - May 2027).

Monte Cassino School is a Catholic Benedictine, independent, co-ed school, Grades PK3-8, with an Early Childhood Learning Center (PK3-K), Elementary School (grades 1-4), and Middle School (grades 5-8) in Tulsa, Oklahoma. With over 800 students, and rooted in the Values of Benedictine education, Monte Cassino School inspires its students to lead and serve, through lives of purpose that integrate faith, academics, community, and personal growth in pursuit of the school motto, “Every day at Monte Cassino School we do our best so that in all things God may be Glorified.”

After School Teacher positions are available in Early Childhood Learning Center (3 year olds, 4 year olds, Kindergarten), Elementary School (1st-4th) & Middle School (5th-8th).  After School Teachers focus on interacting with and helping students be friendly and active. There is a balance of inside and outside time, weather permitting.  All are welcome college students, retirees, part-time job seekers, men and women. 

  • Training is provided
  • M-F preferred but job sharing is possible
  • Start time ranges from 2:00pm to 2:45 pm to 6:00 pm
  • Start time is crucial but leaving earlier may be possible to get to evening classes
  • Demonstrated experience working with children
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with students, staff and the school community
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch and stoop for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Occasionally required to work in poor weather conditions such as temperature, precipitation, and wind
