Job Summary
To supervise students and aid in the after-school program. Valle Catholic ECDC, a vibrant Catholic school community in the heart of Ste. Genevieve is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Aftercare Coordinator to supervise students and aides in the school's aftercare program.
Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise students in the after-school care program, ensuring a safe, positive, and welcoming environment.
  • Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, games, crafts, and recreational opportunities.
  • Monitor student behavior and encourage respectful, Christ-centered interactions.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to aftercare aides and student assistants.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure students are released only to authorized individuals.
  • Communicate with parents, teachers, and school administration regarding student needs or concerns.
  • Ensure classrooms and activity areas remain clean, organized, and secure.
  • Follow all school policies and safety procedures, including emergency protocols.

Job Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or similar setting preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
