Gravity Haus is looking for an energetic and welcoming Barista to join our team. In this role, you will help create memorable moments for our members and guests by delivering excellent coffee, warm hospitality, and a positive start to their day.
As a Barista, you'll work in a fast-paced cafรฉ environment where attention to detail, teamwork, and genuine guest interaction are key. If you enjoy connecting with people, crafting great beverages, and creating a welcoming space for guests to gather, we'd love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming cafรฉ experience.
  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and other beverages with consistency and care.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked cafรฉ workspace.
  • Listen to guest needs and answer questions about beverages, menu items, and the Unravel concept.
  • Deliver friendly, efficient service during busy morning periods.
  • Ensure beverages meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Support teammates and help maintain a smooth and positive workflow during service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment, counters, and guest-facing areas.
  • Serve as an ambassador for Gravity Haus, sharing our mission of building a globally conscious community for modern adventurers.

What We're Looking For
  • Previous barista, cafรฉ, or food & beverage experience preferred, ideally in a high-volume environment.
  • Experience preparing espresso-based drinks and specialty coffee beverages is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment, especially during busy morning hours.
  • Strong guest service and communication skills with the ability to create positive guest interactions.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail while managing multiple drink orders.
  • Comfortable handling cash transactions and point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health department guidelines.
  • Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work early morning shifts.
  • A passion for coffee, hospitality, and creating a welcoming cafรฉ environment.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, reach, and move quickly during service.
