Professional Security Officer (Hospitality & Executive Protection)

Job Summary

Executive Detail Solution (EDS) is looking for experienced and professional Security Officers to join our team. This position is ideal for officers who have worked in five-star hotels, fine dining restaurants, luxury venues, or executive protection.

Work schedules range from 1 to 4 days per week, depending on client needs. Most assignments take place during the evening and overnight hours at hotels, lounges, bars, concerts, and special events.

We are looking for dependable officers who take pride in their appearance, provide excellent customer service, and know how to keep people safe while remaining calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

As a Professional Security Officer, you will:

  • Patrol assigned areas to help prevent theft, vandalism, and other security concerns.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and report any suspicious activity.
  • Control access by checking IDs and allowing only authorized people to enter.
  • Greet guests, employees, and visitors in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Respond quickly to emergencies and follow company safety procedures.
  • Help with crowd control and guest safety during events.
  • De-escalate conflicts using good communication and sound judgment.
  • Write clear and accurate incident reports.
  • Work closely with clients, management, and local law enforcement when needed.
  • Protect company property, employees, guests, and clients.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Have previous experience in luxury hotels, restaurants, private security, law enforcement, military, or executive protection.
  • Own a professional black business suit suitable for executive protection assignments.
  • Have reliable transportation to travel to different job sites.
  • Be willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and late-night shifts.
  • Have excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Be able to stay calm and make good decisions during stressful situations.
  • Be physically able to stand, walk, and patrol for long periods.

Preferred Qualifications

The following certifications are preferred but not required:

  • Current Guard Card
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification
  • Baton or OC Pepper Spray Permit
  • Taser Certification (where legally permitted)
  • Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) Permit (if applicable)
