IT Project Manager-Part-Time 20 hours per week-Remote

  • Timeframe - July 2026-February 2027
  • Schedule: Standard business hours (Monday–Friday). Flexibility may be needed to support stakeholder availability


Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to support a fast-moving initiative requiring strong coordination across stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables. This role will focus on driving structure, governance, and communication to ensure successful execution of project objectives.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in managing cross-functional projects in a time-sensitive environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Solicit input from steering committee members and stakeholders to build and maintain project agendas
  • Facilitate meetings, document decisions, and track action items, owners, and deadlines
  • Coordinate project timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across teams
  • Provide ongoing status reporting and ensure transparency across all stakeholders
  • Identify risks, blockers, and escalation points; proactively drive resolution
  • Maintain centralized project documentation, communications, and artifacts within Microsoft Teams
  • Establish and manage communication cadence across stakeholders (status updates, checkpoints, executive reviews)
  • Support alignment across business priorities, scope, and project objectives
  • Track progress against plan and adjust timelines or expectations as needed
  • Assist in organizing project governance structures and workflows
  • These responsibilities align with internal expectations for project delivery, including tracking progress, managing stakeholders, and maintaining project plans and reporting.  


Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience (IT or cross-functional projects preferred)
  • Strong experience managing stakeholders and leadership-level communication
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, and priorities
  • Experience with project planning tools, reporting, and documentation
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience working within Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration platforms
  • Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments


Preferred:

  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Experience working with enterprise stakeholders or governance committees


Team Structure:

  • Cross-functional stakeholders
  • Steering committee involvement
  • Coordination with internal leadership (including project sponsors and contributors)
