About the Opportunity

This position is responsible for operating and maintaining a water truck (Class 5 w/ Airbrakes) to ensure proper watering for all landscape sites. Your key duties will include safely transporting water, accurately assessing watering needs, and meticulously applying water to various plants and landscaped areas to support their health. This position can also assist other departments as needed in a field labour/driver capacity.

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment
  • Monitor water levels and refill the tank as needed
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient site operations
  • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards
  • Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting on the water truck
  • Follow organizational standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs)


What You Bring to the Table

  • Class 5 drivers license with airbrakes as a minimum
  • Class 3 drivers license is an asset
  • Clean and professional appearance, punctual, and dependable
  • Ability to work long hours outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout the day
  • Stoop, stand, and bend for up to 12 hours a day
