Job description

PPS is seeking a detail-oriented Ultra-Fine Wire Technician for our century old manufacturing operation in Parma, Ohio. The employee will be responsible for helping produce products using new and complex equipment and processes under the direction of engineers. This is a full-time, permanent, direct hire role with excellent benefits (on-site gym!) and room for advancement!

Responsibilities:

•Production of heavy gauge and ultrafine metal wires.

•Coordination of multiple machine centers to maximize production output.

•Learn specialized wire manufacturing processes and produce consistent products.

•Visual and dimensional inspection of wire using standard metrology tools and techniques.

•Follow written work instructions.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrates excellent dexterity; able to work with small and delicate products using hand-eye coordination.

• Patience for high-skill machine setups.

• Self-starter who can identify company priorities and work with little oversight.

• Consistent high performer with ability to work in a team environment.

• Holds themselves and team members accountable for a high level of performance.

• Exhibits knowledge of manufacturing processes or shows an interest in learning about manufacturing processes.
