Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations on new patients, reviewing their medical history, physical exams, and necessary assessments to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies clearly to patients and their families, involving them in goal-setting to foster collaboration in recovery.
  • Implement treatment protocols effectively, utilizing the latest evidence-based practices tailored to individual patient needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care and address complex medical needs.
  • Monitor patient progress and document changes in their condition, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • Oversee discharge planning, ensuring patients have adequate follow-up care and understand their rehabilitation goals upon leaving the clinic.
  • Engage in time management to meet productivity expectations, keeping an organized schedule and being punctual for all commitments.
  • Participate in educational activities for professional growth, including serving as a clinical instructor for students in the Physical Therapy program.
  • Contribute to departmental objectives, ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Parkland Physical Therapy Clinic, you will work with a diverse patient population. Our clinic caters to individuals recovering from surgeries, accidents, or chronic conditions that require rehabilitation. Qualifications
