The role of the Physical Therapist encompasses a variety of essential tasks to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients:

• Conduct thorough evaluations, including assessment of patient history and specific physical assessments, to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Engage patients and their families in understanding evaluation findings and goal-setting for rehabilitation, incorporating their input into treatment protocols.
• Implement individualized treatment protocols based on evaluation results, adapting approaches as necessary to align with patient progress and treatment efficacy.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals when necessary to address patient needs, modifying care plans based on observed changes in patient condition.
• Document all patient encounters and care plans meticulously, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and clear communication of progress.
• Manage time effectively, maintaining productivity standards while providing exceptional care and attending necessary meetings.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about our services and support the clinic's visibility.
• Contribute to professional growth by pursuing continuing education and mentoring students or junior staff members.

At Parkland Physical Therapy Clinic, we serve a diverse patient population, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain management, and patients recovering from illnesses or debilitating conditions. To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, consistent with state regulations.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

While prior experience is not a strict requirement, candidates with at least 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting will be favored. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and a commitment to continuous learning are additional assets.
