Job Description
  • Performs Park maintenance for JCPRD sports fields, including baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball, and soccer. This position also performs building maintenance as applicable. Responsible for maintaining all outdoor fields and indoor courts at a level of excellence to ensure safe play and patron satisfaction.
  • Maintenance duties include: Court/facility set-up & take down, trash collection, cleaning of grounds, picnic areas and restrooms.
  • Performs setup and light duty maintenance at Okun Fieldhouse, Mid-America & Mid America West Sports Complex on evening and weekends, in an exciting sports environment. Okun Fieldhouse host a variety of sports including basketball, volleyball and futsal.
  • Duties would include room and sports equipment setup, removing trash, cleaning restrooms and other light duties.

Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum age 16 years and older.
  • Flexible work hours are available every weeknight (M-F) from 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm and weekends from 7:00 am - 12:00 am. Some Holiday staffing is needed.
  • Work Locations: Okun Fieldhouse, Mid-America, Mid-America West Sports Complex, 20200 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66218.
