About the Role

As the Apartment Maintenance Supervisor at Mountain Run in Culpeper, VA, you will be a key member of our team, responsible for keeping our property in top-notch physical condition, inside and out. A typical day could include plumbing, electrical, basic drywall, carpet, and appliance repairs, plus common area and exterior maintenance and repairs. You'll perform and delegate maintenance tasks, respond to after-hours emergencies, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpet, and appliance repairs
  • Maintain common areas and exteriors to the highest standards
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies (on-call rotation required)
  • Delegate tasks to maintenance assistants and ensure timely completion
  • Maintain accurate records for work orders, parts, inventory, and service follow-up
  • Foster a positive, customer-focused environment for residents and team members
  • Participate in ongoing training and mentorship through "The Park Academy"

What We're Looking For

  • Caring attitude, pride in your work, and commitment to high performance
  • Self-motivated, hard-working, and high-energy
  • Experience in apartment maintenance or related field preferred
  • HVAC certification preferred
  • Skilled in using power tools and basic technology (computers/tablets)
  • Good people skills, friendly and helpful attitude
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 75 lbs. frequently
  • Strong record-keeping and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Rotating after-hours on-call availability and weekends

Please Note: Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

Pay: $27.00 per hour
Work Location: In Person
