Parcel transportation is the primary focus; the role also supports final mile, white glove, and store delivery programs through provider procurement, carrier management, performance oversight, and continuous improvement.

How you create impact

  • Lead parcel carrier sourcing, RFQ, procurement, and contract negotiations to optimize cost, service, and performance.
Carrier Management & Commercial Support
  • Manage strategic parcel carrier relationships and ensure compliance with contractual and service-level commitments.
  • Serve as the primary parcel transportation subject-matter expert, supporting carrier selection, performance management, and operational solutions.
Transportation Analytics & Financial Governance
  • Analyze transportation spend, carrier performance, and shipment characteristics to identify cost savings and service improvement opportunities.
  • Develop transportation analytics, KPI reporting, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making and business performance.
Operational Excellence & Customer Success
  • Partner with Operations, Customer Solutions, and IT to ensure successful transportation execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive continuous improvement through transportation visibility, carrier performance management, and optimization of transportation technologies and processes.
What we would like you to bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in transportation, parcel operations, logistics, supply chain, or contract logistics environments
  • 3+ years of experience managing parcel programs, carrier relationships, procurement, or transportation operations
  • Proven experience negotiating parcel carrier agreements and leading transportation procurement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of parcel pricing, including dimensional rating, fuel surcharges, accessorials, and service-level commitments
  • Experience with transportation budgets, forecasting, freight audit, payment processes, and financial analysis
  • Knowledge of parcel networks and final mile service models, including white glove, store delivery, delivery metrics, and claims management
  • Advanced analytical skills in transportation modeling, performance measurement, and executive reporting
  • Experience with TMS, parcel manifesting systems (PCIP), carrier portals, WMS platforms, and reporting tools
  • Ability to lead initiatives, manage multiple priorities, and travel up to 20%
