Job description

The MCS Group has an immediate job opening for an office services associate to work in a high volume law firm in New York, NY.

Job responsibilities include print, copy, document imaging, and finishing services. The associate is also responsible for cross-training and assistance in mail services and hospitality.

Candidates must possess strong print and copy skills, preferably with high volume and finishing equipment.

Monday – Friday

9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

The Office Services Associate must be highly motivated, customer-focused and capable of demonstrating a variety of tasks.

The associate is responsible for providing a high level of quality while maximizing productivity.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Mailroom Operations

  • Incoming mail processing/sorting/distribution
  • Outgoing mail processing/metering
  • Parcel Shipping & Receiving
  • Mail scanned into email, or per practice group’s instructions
  • Prioritizing check delivery/scanning

Print Center Support and Operations

  • Document Reprographics (Print/Copy/Scan)
  • Document Binding
  • Bates Labeling
  • CD Downloading & Duplication

Office Hospitality

  • Work with firm personnel to support scheduled events held in the firm’s conference rooms
  • Set up, break down, and clean up any food, furniture, etc. for in-office meetings, events, etc.
  • Disinfect all common areas throughout the firm
  • Maintain inventory-par levels of office supplies throughout the firm and when inventory is low.

Back-Up Reception

  • Be trained in front-desk receptionist coverage for lunch and lavatory breaks

Courier Support

  • Local courier support for hand deliveries (within ½ mile radius)
  • Support with third-party courier coordination for longer distances
