Registered Behavior Technician (ABA Paraprofessional) in Stonecrest GA

Level Ahead Georgia is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician (ABA Paraprofessional) to join our growing practice! Behavior Technicians work one on one with clients with autism and related disorders in their homes/communities, under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst. Join our team to receive exceptional training in ABA therapy, and impact the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct behavioral intervention to clients in individual sessions

  • Work together with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst supervisor to implement behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs in accordance with best practices in ABA therapy

  • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data for each session using our electronic data collection platform

  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients and their families

  • Maintain active communication with clients, families, BCBA supervisors, and Level Ahead's admin team

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in the field of ABA

  • Education/experience in education, special education, or mental health fields preferred

  • Minimum education of high school diploma or equivalent

  • Must have RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification or be willing to complete the 40-hour RBT course provided by one of the certifying programs. The course that we suggest is located at the following website: https://behaviortechcourse.com/product/40-hour-rbt-course/

  • Access to reliable transportation, active drivers license and car insurance, travel required

  • Must be punctual, professional, and able to implement direct intervention sessions without daily supervision independently
