Job Summary:ย 

To support a student with significant behavioral and emotional needs during the school day. The role is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, relationship-oriented, and committed to helping students succeed in a structured educational environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to one student throughout the school day
  • Assist with behavior management and emotional regulation strategies
  • Help maintain a safe, supportive, and consistent learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, case managers, and support staff
  • Support transitions, classroom participation, and social interactions
  • Document observations and communicate effectively with the educational team


Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children or adolescents preferred
  • Background in special education, behavioral support, psychology, counseling, or related fields is a plus
