In your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify functional limitations and disabilities in patients.
• Develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans that incorporate patient goals and rehabilitation best practices.
• Implement therapeutic modalities and exercise regimens while monitoring progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
• Consult with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and patient communications, adhering to all regulatory and professional standards.
• Lead educational sessions for patients and supportive staff, enhancing their understanding of rehabilitation processes.
• Participate in community outreach programs and initiatives to raise awareness about orthopedic health and rehabilitation services.

Your patient population will primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative conditions, and mobility impairments. You will engage with patients of all ages and backgrounds, tailoring your therapeutic approach to their unique cultural and personal needs. Your role is pivotal in ensuring each patient's voice is heard in their recovery process, facilitating their journey toward restored function and quality of life.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and interdisciplinary team members.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation software.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Experience in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting.
• Specialized training or certification in orthopedic therapy techniques.
• A proven track record of leading group therapy sessions or community health education.
