Overview: We are seeking experienced and compassionate Paramedics to join our 911 staffing team. As a Paramedic in the communities we serve, you will provide advanced medical care and play a pivotal role in delivering life-saving interventions to individuals during critical situations. This position offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on community health and safety.
Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls as part of a 911.
  • Perform advanced patient assessments and triage, prioritizing care based on criticality.
  • Administer advanced life support (ALS) interventions within scope of practice and protocols.
  • Manage and stabilize patients experiencing medical emergencies, trauma, or cardiac events.
  • Coordinate patient care and transportation to appropriate medical facilities.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, their families, and healthcare providers.
  • Document patient assessment, treatment provided, and response to interventions accurately and comprehensively.
  • Maintain and clean equipment and ambulances in accordance with established standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing emergency medical services.
Qualifications:
  • Current certification as a Paramedic or EMT-I in Virginia.
  • Valid CPR (BLS) certification.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
