What You’ll Do as a Paramedic:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in pre-hospital and inter-facility transport settings.
  • Perform advanced life support (ALS) and basic life support (BLS) interventions within scope of practice.
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and transport patients with a wide range of medical conditions and injuries.
  • Deliver compassionate care while representing KQT with professionalism.
 
Requirements:
  • Delaware Paramedic (EMT-P), or ability to get reciprocity upon hire (PA and MD certification a plus, required once hired).
  • Current and valid ALS certification.
  • Current certification cards for all applicable skill-based levels (BTLS, PALS, NALS, etc.)
  • Valid driver’s license preferred & EVO.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Background check & child abuse clearance.
  • Strong attendance, punctuality, and professional communication skills.
  • Computer skills required for timekeeping, scheduling, communication, and charting.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role: lifting/moving patients (125 lbs unassisted/250+ lbs assisted), including carrying patients up/down stairs, using stretcher, and stair chairs, extended periods of sitting/standing, and frequent movement.
