Job description

Job Summary:

The Wealth Strategist at Parallel Advisors is an associate level role, which will be joining a fast-growing Registered Investment Advisory firm with a culture of entrepreneurship, education, and collaboration. As a Wealth Strategist, you will work closely with your Manager and team to support current clients and prospects through administrative and technical assistance work. A Wealth Strategist will be exposed to a fast-paced work environment and work alongside experienced advisors with a wide range of expertise. Parallel Advisors fosters a collaborative culture, which will allow you to learn and get exposure to many different aspects of financial planning and investment management processes.

This is a hybrid (in office 3x/week) position and will be based in either our Scottsdale or Dallas office.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as liaison with existing clients to schedule and coordinate client meetings on a regular basis.

  • Coordinate action items gathered from client interactions to improve the client experience and efficiency within the team.

  • Gather information from clients and enter portfolio data into spreadsheets and update entries using our financial planning tool (MoneyGuide Pro).

  • Help gather and distribute client information to outside professionals such as CPAs, bookkeepers, or estate planning attorneys on a regular basis.

  • Assist in organizing work papers, scanning and uploading documents, onboarding new clients, and maintaining existing client records in our CRM system (we use Salesforce).

  • Working cross-functionally and collaboratively within the team to identify and delegate ad hoc client requests to appropriate team members.

  • Work closely with advisors to assist in researching and presenting custom client projects and analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment

  • Ability to manipulate data via Excel (Formulas, VLookup, Pivot Tables, etc)

  • Capability to manage multiple demands and competing priorities.

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • Financial services or bookkeeping experience a plus.
