Description
SUMMARY:
Under the immediate supervision of the Bingo Lead and Bingo Manager, the Paper Room Clerk issues game sheets, packs, and bingo supplies to the admission cashier and floor staff, controls the flow of supplies in and out of the paper room, and maintains accurate, secure inventory records. This position requires strong attention to detail, accurate data entry into the bingo inventory system, and the ability to manage and reconcile inventory in compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other job-related duties may be assigned.
• Pull and prepare all bingo paper for each session according to the daily bingo program, including buy-ins, warm-ups, specials, Bonanza, and extra books, and stage materials for cashier and floor sales.
• Issue paper to cashiers and floor clerks by entering all transactions into the bingo inventory system; record issue/add-on/return counts and print required reports for reconciliation and signatures.
• Follow established inventory procedures and clearly mark and secure voided or damaged paper for audit review.
• Keep records of incoming and outgoing merchandise.
• Verify leftover game packs, sheets, and bingo supplies after bingo.
• Unpack packages received; examine shipments, and report quantity or quality issues to the Bingo Lead or Bingo Manager.
• Arrange and store bingo paper by serial number, game type, and date of use to maintain proper inventory organization and traceability.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts in the bingo inventory system and generate required reports for signature and audit review.
• Clean and organize the paper room as necessary.
• Must understand and comply with departmental internal control regulations.
• Assist with promotions and special event set-ups.
• Flexibility to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be certifiable through the Arizona Department of Gaming / Tribal Gaming Office.
• All successful candidates will be subject to pre-employment drug testing and ongoing random drug testing.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• Excellent counting and organizational skills required
• All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED
• Must have knowledge of bingo games and procedures.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Applicants must be in good physical health, as this position requires lifting of heavy objects.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
In the Entertainment industry, one may be subject to a work environment containing excessive noise, smoke, and stress.
