Purk & Associates, PC, a growing St. Louis-based CPA firm, has an immediate need for an Associate in our Tax Department. Purk & Associates, PC specializes in serving privately held companies in a wide array of industries, in addition to not-for-profits and employee benefit plans. The ideal candidate will possess:

· A high motivation for working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

  • College Degree
  • Possessing the required hours to sit for the CPA exam or actively working toward that goal
  • Forward movement toward taking the CPA exam
  • Engaged in continuous learning: engagements, clients, software, etc.
  • Ability to prepare basic tax returns and basic work papers within larger tax return engagements
