The Machine Utility is responsible for supporting the operation of manufacturing equipment. This includes feeding materials into machines and assisting machine operators and helpers with a wide range of duties to ensure production runs smoothly and safely. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient workflow and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup and operation of production machinery, focusing on feeding materials (such as paperboard or other materials) into the equipment.
  • Provide support to machine operators and helpers with various tasks to ensure a smooth and continuous workflow.
  • Help ensure all orders are produced with the correct materials and meet quality specifications.
  • Assist in monitoring and recording material consumption and production data.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve quality, productivity, and safety targets.
  • Adhere to the daily production schedule and assist in optimizing processes to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.
  • Proactively identify and report equipment issues or maintenance needs to supervision.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols, including maintaining a clean and organized work area.
