Job description

Job Title: Legal Receptionist/Front desk/Mailroom


Location: San Diego, CA 92101
Type: Temp to Engage (Contract-to-Hire)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
Parking: No paid parking provided. Candidate must secure their own parking (approx. $28/day). Public transportation available with 2 trolley and 3 bus stops within 2 blocks.


Top Candidate Requirements:
  • Mailroom experience

  • Copy and print production experience (High volume)

  • Legal industry experience (REQUIRED)

  • Strong customer service and organizational skills

  • Must be comfortable with standing, walking, and light lifting

  • Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment


Education & Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED required

  • 1–2 years of related work experience in copy, mailroom, or legal support services

  • Familiarity with shipping/receiving procedures

  • Basic knowledge of electronics and office equipment preferred


Responsibilities:
  • Operate high-volume copy machines and perform finishing/bindery tasks

  • Perform document scanning and imaging

  • Sort, process, and deliver mail and packages internally and externally

  • Operate shrink-wrap, paper cutters, joggers, and other production tools

  • Conduct QC for outgoing overnight packages

  • Process paper deliveries to convenience copiers

  • Perform occasional filing, archiving, and document purging

  • Set up meeting/conference rooms and assist with building support tasks
