Royal Sleep is a family owned and operated manufacturer of sleep products that is rapidly expanding. Partnering with Diamond Mattress, a leader in sleep products and wellness education, Royal Sleep strives to be a leader in the industry through its innovation and our mission to provide world class sleep products and support.

SUMMARY

Royal Sleep Products is looking for a Class A Driver. The primary function of this position is to help load and unload product, deliver freight, and handle delivery paperwork. This position requires interaction with customers and customer service and sales team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Do a daily pre-trip inspection and Driver manifest.
  • Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most practical trip.
  • Follow Dispatch Trach delivery route routing (coming in the third quarter of the year)
  • Load cargo at warehouses and shipping centers
  • Make deliveries to homes and business
  • Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures
  • Accept and process payments
  • Maintain vehicles or report problems to the supervisor
  • Pick up and drop off production materials
  • Maintain vehicle clean
  • Help shipping personnel load and unload your orders
  • Assist clients with unloading their orders
  • Communicate any order or customer issues with CSR
  • Complete your E-log or paper logbook daily
  • Call customers 1 hour ahead before delivery
  • Return packing slips to CSR daily or the following day.
  • Process RGOs by writing the law tag number of the item returned or rejected on the packing slip

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ Years' Experience
  • Ability to push, pull or lift 50+ pounds, bend, stand and/or sit for long periods of time
  • Willing to work on a changing schedule and to work overtime as required.
  • Ability to be away 2-3 days during the week
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • No Major Accidents or Violations within the Past 5 Years
  • No Felonies or misdemeanor charges
  • No DUI within the last 5 years
  • Follow All Safety Regulations
  • Customer Service Skills
  • Self-Motivated & Attention to Detail
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Clearance to drive out of State if required.
  • Communicates Clearly, both verbally and written, in English
  • Responsible with a Strong Work Ethic
  • Energetic and Willing to Work Until Completing Route
  • Familiar with State and Federal Regulations.
  • Ability to stop at various commercial and retail areas with heavy traffic
