Role Description:

The Maintenance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Trenton, SC. This position is responsible for leading the maintenance team, coordinating daily maintenance activities, and ensuring all production and facility equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead all maintenance operations, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility maintenance.
  • Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures to minimize downtime.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities to support production goals.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, spare parts, and outside contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Train and mentor maintenance personnel, and work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to improve equipment performance and efficiency.
  • Analyze downtime data and implement corrective actions using root cause analysis.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records within the CMMS system.
Qualifications:
  • 8 or more years of strong maintenance management and supervisory skills experience in a manufacturing environment to lead teams, allocate resources, and oversee maintenance operations.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and automation systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and repair complex machinery and equipment.
  • Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing maintenance budgets and capital projects.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices.
  • Experience with nonwoven, textile, paper, converting, or similar continuous manufacturing processes is preferred.
  • Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
  • Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to visually inspect equipment.
