Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-spectrum obstetric care, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum services.
- Perform gynecologic evaluations, annual exams, and preventative screenings (Pap smears, breast exams, etc.).
- Diagnose and treat conditions related to the female reproductive system, including menstrual disorders, infertility, endometriosis, menopause, and pelvic pain.
- Manage high-risk obstetric cases and provide appropriate referrals when necessary.
- Conduct gynecologic procedures and surgeries (e.g., hysterectomy, laparoscopy, D&C, tubal ligation).
- Provide family planning counseling and contraceptive management.
- Collaborate with nurses, midwives, and other specialists to provide integrated patient care.
- Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Valid and unrestricted state medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and surgical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
