Job description

We are looking for an efficient and organized Panini Prep Cook to join our daytime culinary operations. In this role, you will serve as a foundational part of our kitchen team, ensuring the line is fully stocked while independently managing the production of premium wraps, salads, and specialty items for customer delivery orders.
This position requires an early-bird kitchen professional who takes pride in exact ingredient portions, immaculate knife work, and exceptional food safety. If you thrive in a structured, fast-paced morning environment and can seamlessly transition between volume ingredient preparation and final dish assembly for takeout and delivery, we would love to have you on the team.
What You'll Do:
  • Chop, slice, dice, and portion a diverse range of fresh produce, proteins, and specialty ingredients according to exact recipe cards and yield guidelines.
  • Efficiently build, garnish, and pack premium wraps, salads, and daytime favorites specifically for outgoing delivery and customer orders, ensuring presentation remains high-quality during transit.
  • Anticipate kitchen workflow by keeping prep stations, reach-ins, and walk-in coolers meticulously stocked and organized for the line cooks.
  • Uphold strict food safety and sanitation benchmarks, practicing proper inventory rotation (FIFO) and maintaining a clean, inspection-ready workspace.
  • Utilize precise cutting and measuring techniques to maximize product yields and keep food waste to an absolute minimum.
  • Work effectively with the entire kitchen team, contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.

What You Bring:
  • Previous hands-on experience in a commercial kitchen setting, with specific exposure to high-volume ingredient prep or cold-line assembly (salads, sandwiches, wraps).
  • Strong fundamental knife handling, comfort operating standard kitchen prep equipment, and a sharp eye for consistency.
  • Dependable, punctual, and available for early morning shifts. Ability to stand for the duration of the shift, perform repetitive tasks with accuracy, and comfortably lift kitchen inventory.
  • A detail-oriented team player who maintains focus under time constraints and is dedicated to supporting a clean, efficient kitchen.
  • Basic understanding of safe food handling practices and kitchen sanitation.

Why Join Anna's House?

  • Be a crucial part of a busy, successful restaurant known for its quality.
  • Opportunities to refine your culinary skills and learn more about kitchen operations.
  • Work alongside a friendly and dedicated group who value hard work and collaboration.
