Material Handler Equipment Installer

Overview

We are seeking a construction/pallet racking installers to join our install team.  Our Team works with customers on site to meet expectations and deliver install services in a safe but timely manner.  This position will be focusing on being a crucial member of a small team of installers.

Essential Functions

  • Exercise and encourage proper safety practices at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding scheduling, and personnel management.
  • Effectively use a variety tools properly to optimize productivity.
  • Utilize sound decision making and problem solving practices.
  • Work efficiently with others to achieve team goals

Education and Experience

  • Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and/or construction experience required
  • Relevant knowledge or warehousing/distribution, pallet rack design, material handling equipment etc.
  • Ability to properly utilize a variety of tools and large equipment
  • Safety training or equipment operation certifications are a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work on a team and on individual tasks
  • Must be coachable and have a desire to learn new skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, customers, vendors and subcontractors
  • Must be able to stand and work for long hours with necessary tools and PPE
  • Must be able to lift up to or in excess of 50 pounds regularly as well as climb and kneel semi regularly
  • Must have an optimistic attitude focused on WINNING for our customers

Hours and Travel

  • High volume of work hours including occasion changes in shifts
  • Travel as needed

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive hourly rate ranging from $15-$30/hour. Eligible for overtime. 

    The company offers a 401(k) plan with an eligible matching program that begins after one year of employment.

    Health, dental, and vision insurance are provided, along with employer-sponsored short-term disability (STD) benefits.

    Paid time off is offered, ranging from 8 to 12 days per anniversary year, in addition to holiday pay, which includes one floating holiday per calendar year.
