ChamClad-Palleting Staff

Job Summary:

The Palleting Staff is a skilled position, normally wood carpentry-skills to physically assemble or produce pallets for finished products and shipment requirements. Their main duties include assembly of pallets' bases and closing pallets of inspected packed and ready-to-ship products.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Building pallets based on weekly orders for shipment.
  2. Pallet closing for finished and inspected stacked products for shipment.
  3. Labelling pallets and packaged products with necessary documentation before handling out for shipment.
  4. Organizing, moving, and storing inventory in its specified area in the warehouse.
  5. Ensuring pallet orders are completed within the deadlines.
  6. Maintaining tools and equipment and adhering to preventive maintenance schedules and safety procedures.
  7. Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work environment and taking part in regular cleaning and maintenance.
  8. Assisting materials preparation for manufacturing including but not limited to Cutting special lengths and Aluminum Material cleaning.
  9. Inventory and Packaging Support.

  1. Forklift Operations
  2. Column Saw Operations
  3. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds on a repetitive basis throughout the workday.
