Data Center Material Handler | Henderson, NV


Nexeo Staffing is hiring Data Center Material Handlers to support a global logistics and supply chain company’s high-tech data center in Henderson, Nevada. Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight, ensuring accurate shipping documentation and recordkeeping.

• Assemble and install computer hardware, server components, and cabling according to schematics, diagrams, and build specifications.

• Perform quality inspections on materials and components, verifying quantities, part numbers, and condition.

• Conduct inventory cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse management systems.

• Process returns, complete data entry, and maintain documentation using Excel and internal systems.

• Utilize laser measuring tools and precision equipment to align and position server racks.

• Safely operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, straddle stackers, and rack movers.

• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and quality standards.

• Collaborate with logistics, warehouse, and build teams to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy.

• Support cross-functional teams and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.


Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in data center operations, IT hardware assembly, electronics production, inventory control, high-volume logistics, or a related environment.

• Hands-on experience building, assembling, or repairing computers or servers.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace.

• Familiarity with inventory management tools, SAP, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems preferred.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow technical instructions and diagrams.

• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended shifts.

• Reliable transportation and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Must pass a 10-year national background check and pre-employment drug screening.


Pay

$19.00 - $21.50 per hour

Weekday AM: Monday-Thursday | 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM | $19.00/hr

Weekend AM: Friday-Monday | 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM | $20.50/hr

Weekday Swing: Monday-Thursday | 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM | $21.50/hr
