Job description

Job description – Machine Operator

Prairie Farms Dairy in Dayton, OH is currently accepting applications for machine operators for our manufacturing plant. Filler operators, mix makers and plant relief are all possible options. We offer competitive wages, a generous health insurance program, excellent retirement plan, paid vacation. This is a first shift, full-time position, Monday through Friday and paid weekly. Possible 10-hour shifts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality standards of our products as well as safe and efficient operation of equipment in the production department and after a training period, must be able to qualify on all operational aspects of each workstation they are trained on.

Physical requirements may include lifting, up to 50 pounds, operating pallet jacks, and standing and walking for extended periods of time. Skill requirements include set up, adjustment, operation, and sanitation of equipment.

Candidate must be able to pass the company pre-employment drug and background screening.
