Job description

Pallet/Crate Builder
Location: Wixom, MI Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM Pay: $20/hr
Job Summary
Workbox Staffing is seeking a full-time Pallet/Crate Builder for a custom wood shop and packaging manufacturer in Wixom, MI. In this hands-on role, you will assemble pallets and crates according to detailed instructions while maintaining quality standards and production goals. This is a physically demanding position that requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to meet daily production targets.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Load lumber onto assembly fixtures
• Follow detailed build instructions and meet production numbers
• Use industrial nail guns safely and efficiently
• Perform quality control during and after assembly
• Keep accurate counts of finished products and defects
• Perform other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
• Previous build, craftsman, or carpentry experience a plus
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform heavy lifting throughout the shift
• Maintain a full-time 40+ hour schedule and reliable attendance
• Valid driver’s license or ID for facility access
• Lives within 20-mile radius preferred
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain production standards
• Reliability and strong work ethic
