Schedule: 2-2-3 D shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).

  • $22.85 /hour at 1 year
Position Summary
Uses forklift to deliver and remove supply and finished wire, packaging materials, scrap boxes, and other items used in the production process. Perform shipping and receiving operations, including delivery of items to appropriate areas and placing pallets and reels into a high-bay racking system.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Assure machines are properly supplied with stock wire by delivering on a timely basis
• Use forklift to remove finished wire; weigh, label, palletize and band as needed; place into racking system as needed
• Use stand-up forklift as needed
• Manually move and turn reels as needed
• Remove scrap to appropriate areas; weigh and label as needed/empty trash dumpsters
• Receive items, process paperwork, and deliver to appropriate areas
• Maintain packaging inventories in plant
• Pull orders from inventory, including manually moving individual reels from pallet to pallet
• Verify loads to be shipped against paperwork
Position Specifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• Manufacturing Experience: At least 2 years of recent mfg. experience and a total of 3 years of related experience in total
• High School Diploma - GED
• Knowledge of safety, distribution, and manufacturing best practices
• Mechanical and hands-on experience with basic hand tools and measuring devices, verified through work history and references.
• We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, reliability, and a demonstrated commitment to professional growth in a manufacturing setting
Preferred Qualifications:
• Preference for candidates demonstrating consistent work history
• Preference for candidates with warehouse/forklift certification
