Painter - Historic Restoration
Worcester Eisenbrandt (WEI) is seeking talented Commercial Painters for a project located in Lexington, Virginia. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, are highly motivated, reliable, and can work independently as well as part of a team.
This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, paid time off, and paid holidays.Job Responsibilities
  • Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, fixtures, and other structures.
  • Apply caulk professionally on various substrates including masonry, wood, and concrete.
  • Repair imperfections in substrates using appropriate materials.
  • Select premixed paints or mix pigments, oils, thinners, and drying agents to achieve specified colors.
  • Apply paint using cloth, brush, sponge, or fingers to create special effects.
  • Perform finishing and detail work as required.
  • Ability to work overtime when needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Dependable and reliable; able to fulfill job responsibilities consistently.
  • Perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting, reaching, handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials.
  • Maintain good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Able to wear required PPE, including respiratory protection, safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and hard hats.
  • Comfortable climbing and maintaining balance on scaffolds two or more stories high.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 50-75 pounds.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of commercial painting experience.
  • Lead certification a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle to travel to the Lexington, VA project site.
  • Comfortable working on scaffolds and at heights.
