Industrial Painter
Pay Rate: $20 - $25/hour DOE
Position Type: Contract to possibly full-time hire
Shift: 7 DAYS per week, 12-hr days
DAY SHIFT - 5:00 AM TO 5:00 PM
NIGHT SHIFT - 5:00 PM TO 5:00 AM
Location: Baytown, TX 77523
Position Overview:
Integrity Trade Services is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Painters in Baytown, TX for an industrial manufacturing operation. The Industrial Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying industrial coatings to equipment and components while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and production.
Responsibilities: 

  • Perform surface preparation activities, which include masking and sanding of product before painting or sandblasting.

  • Perform spray painting functions related to preparatory undercoating, preservatives, and lubricants.

  • Clean and maintain paint shop equipment such as air lines, fluid lines, paint pots, paint guns, and respirators.

  • Ensure coatings are clad according to customer requirements.

  • Clean and store empty paint containers for proper disposal.

  • Maintain and change paint booth media filters and surface protectant coatings as needed.

  • Properly contain hazardous waste generated from normal paint shop operations.

  • Under general supervision, spray paint small, component parts prior to assembly and final coating.

  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

  • Comply with all Company and HSE policies and procedures.

Work Duties: 

  • Follow the Work Order/Specification to determine the type of paint system is required to complete each job.

  • Follow procedures when containing and disposing of paint waste.???

Requirements: 

  • 2+ years of industrial painting experience preferred.

  • Experience with spray painting and industrial coatings.

  • Experience with surface preparation, sanding, masking, and priming.

  • Ability to work with spray guns and related painting equipment.

  • Ability to wear a respirator and pass a respirator fit test, if required.

  • Ability to lift up to 45–50 lbs.

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment with varying temperatures.

  • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.

  • High school diploma/GED preferred.

  • Must be able to follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.

  • Must be able to pass required background check, drug screen, physical/fit testing, as applicable.

  • Must pass employment screenings
