Job description

Operate spray painting equipment, responsible for cleaning and preparation of material to be painted, mixing and applying paint to Units/Compressors and any other materials from manufacturing areas as necessary.

Responsibilities:

Select the appropriate color of paint according to the color specified on the unit documentation.

Operate equipment to clean, sand, remove corrosion, masking, and prepare fabricated steel items for application of primer and paint.

Ability to paint small items and apply touchups.

Maintain paint booth ventilation system, and personal protective equipment.

Must be able to follow instructions given by supervisor.

Perform others duties as required.

Must be able to pass a fit test, and a respirator medical evaluation.

Must be able to work in hot and cold environment.

Will be required to work with team members, and independently.

Will be required to keep shop and work area clean by performing daily housekeeping duties.

Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED.

This is a "safety sensitive" position.
