Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

These positions may include assembly, paint, part delivery, or machine operation. All new hires will be placed in an extensive evaluation and training program. Following the training and evaluation of the teammate's skill level, the teammate will be placed in a general labor position.

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Teammate is expected to report to work on time for all scheduled workdays
  • Pick parts based on part number and kitting standard
  • Bolt, clip, screw, or otherwise fasten parts together
  • Clean, prepare, hang, and remove parts from a paint line
  • Work at different workstations as production needs require
  • Work on lines where tasks vary as different models of same article moves along the line
  • Operate an industrial truck or electric/air hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products
  • Follow specific standardized work instructions, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance standards

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Education or equivalent

COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Assembly experience helpful
  • Safely lift to 50lbs unaided and up to 75lbs with assistance
  • Must possess good mechanical aptitude
  • Must be able to use simple hand tools and measuring devices
