Job description

PAINT LINE TECHNICIAN
Automation Personnel Services is seeking Paint Line Technician for a manufacturing facility in Rossville, GA. In this role, you will assist on the paint line by hanging parts that are ready to go through the booth. 
 
Pay Rates:
$17.00 per hour
 
Schedule and Hours
Monday-Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm
 
Paint Line Technician Duties and Responsibilities
 
  • Responsible for unloading metal fabricated parts off rack hooks from moving paint line conveyor (parts weigh from a few ounces up to 20lbs.) 
  • Placement of racks onto proper carrier
  • Inspection of racks and setting aside for needed repairs
  • Inspect parts for paint defects
  • Pack painted parts into appropriate containers and/or racks for shipment to customers
  • Accurate counts and identification of parts  
 
Paint Line Technician Qualifications and Requirements
  • 2+ years manufacturing experience
  • Must be able to pass basic reading and mathematics test
  • Perform physical tasks of job such as lifting (up to 40lbs)- in office assessment will be conducted
  • Position requires standing on concrete floor for long periods (8 to 10 hours daily) and walking back and forth on paint line to remove parts from racks.
  • Must be able to see with corrective eye wear, must be able to hear clearly with assistance, wearing hearing protection.
