With over 80 years serving the automotive, body shop, agricultural, fleet, and industrial markets, Auto Electric Service Ltd. is southern Saskatchewan’s largest locally owned and operated automotive parts warehouse. We serve both retail and wholesale markets from our locations in Regina, Emerald Park, Yorkton, Estevan, and Weyburn.

We are currently seeking a motivated, and customer-focused Experienced Inside Parts Sales to join our Estevan team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with customers, has a passion for inside sales and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Summary

As a Experienced Inside Parts Sales Person, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing expert advice, product knowledge, and outstanding service. You will assist customers over the counter and by phone helping them find the right parts for their vehicles or equipment. You will also support merchandising initiatives, and contribute to a clean, organized, and professional store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional, and sales-focused manner
  • Sell parts, provide quotes, and advise customers on product options and compatibility
  • Assist customers in selecting required parts, suggesting companion products when appropriate
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently via POS, cash, debit, or credit transactions
  • Handle returns and warranty items
  • Participate in merchandising and visual display initiatives to enhance product visibility
  • Ensure overall cleanliness and organization of the store, displays, and outside areas
  • Protect and maintain the security of store assets
  • Stay up to date on new products, industry innovations, and company promotions

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience in counter sales, including handling phone-based sales interactions
  • Mechanical aptitude with exposure to agriculture, automotive, or industrial parts
  • Knowledge of automotive parts, agricultural equipment parts, industrial parts, or paint and body shop supplies
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of heavy duty parts preferred
  • Proficiency with computers and POS systems preferred
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs preferred
  • Ability to work weekends preferred
  • Eligible to work in Canada
