Job description

Kelly Services is hiring an Industrial Paint/Powder Coater on behalf of a respected Canton-area manufacturer with over a century of industry experience. This company produces precision metal products and components for a variety of industrial applications and is recognized for its commitment to quality, innovation, and employee development.
$22.00 - $25.00 Based on Experience
Monday – Friday   7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
  • Apply wet paint and/or powder coatings using industrial spray equipment.
  • Prepare metal components for painting and coating.
  • Set up and operate industrial parts washer.
  • Load and unload parts from the conveyor system.
  • Mix paint to the required color and consistency or load powder into hoppers.
  • Operate and monitor curing ovens to ensure proper bake times and temperatures.
  • Inspect finished products and verify coating thickness using a mil thickness gauge.
  • Remove masking materials and prepare finished parts for the next stage of production.
Qualifications
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years of industrial painting or powder coating experience.
  • Experience with wet paint and powder coating is strongly preferred.
  • At least 1 year of manufacturing experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform standing, walking, reaching, and other physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Stable work history.
