Job description

Position: Production Associate
Location: Owosso, MI
Pay Rate: $17/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00AM – 2:30PM. Overtime and weekends may be required!

Do you have experience in or a desire to learn a trade related to Plastic Welding and Fabricating, Final Assembly, PVC Plumbing, CNC router Table, Industrial Painting or Machining? Duties:
  1. Speed weld and Extrusion Polypro and PVC
  2. Use tools such as drills, spray guns, saws, grinders, sanders etc.
  3. Assist in assembly of units
  4. Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce metal and plastic parts
  5. Review and follow electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job
  6. Keep inventory of supplies
  7. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma or Equivalent
  2. Willingness to cross train and work in multiple departments
  3. Ability to read a tape measure
  4. Understanding of blueprints preferred
  5. An apprenticeship involving mechanical operations or related trades would be advantageous
  6. Able to work overtime
