Job description

Gale Associates, Inc. is seeking a Field & Testing Technician to join our Rockland, MA office. The position includes conducting specialized building enclosure services such as performance testing services and forensic services of window, curtain wall, storefront, and doors, walls, and roofs, as well as smoke test, electronic leak detection tests, infrared surveys, and other building envelope testing and construction observations. Gale is a well-respected national engineering/planning firm celebrating over 62 years in business and rated one of Zweig White's "Best Firms to Work For" for the past 13 consecutive years.
Job Requirements:
  • A pertinent post-secondary education certificate in the construction field. Certification as an RRC, RRO or RWC is preferable as is an Associates or Bachelor's degree in construction technology, engineering or architecture.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience with construction monitoring, specifically roofing, windows, waterproofing and faรงade systems, or building enclosure system testing and/or inspections is preferred.
  • Excellent writing and documentation skills and proficient computer skills (MS Office and Outlook are required).
  • Local travel is required with possible support to regional offices.
