Key Responsibilities
  • Provide post-anesthesia care in a critical care environment, closely monitoring patients' vital signs following surgical procedures
  • Initiate and manage pain management protocols for post-operative patients
  • Administer fluids and medications as indicated during the post-anesthesia recovery phase
  • Recognize and manage complications or adverse reactions in patients recovering from anesthesia
  • Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions and continuity of care
Required Qualifications
  • Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
  • Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • PALS certification required
  • PACU or critical care experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience in a high-acuity or surgical services environment
  • Strong assessment skills with the ability to rapidly identify and respond to post-operative complications
